Angel House turns orphans into sons and daughters throughout India and Southeast Asia.

It is estimated there are 30 million orphans in India under six years old

Two-thirds of the children have been orphaned: no mommies, no daddies, no name, no birthdate!

These orphans are likely to end up: in forced labor, begging, or sex trafficked.

IT ALL STARTS WITH A HOME

Angel House personally selects their house parents and guides them through an intensive training process of classes in leadership, safety, and parenting. Their staff undergoes regular and unannounced home visits to ensure all operations are according to Angel House standards.

AND A WELL

Angel House digs a fresh water well that will serve the house and community up to 30 years. This guarantees to directly impact hundreds of lives.

TIME TO BUILD

Angel House employs locals within the community to build the houses. This has had a positive impact on the local economy and is an integral part of their model for change.

EVERY CHILD RECEIVES

HEALTHY MEALS

The children no longer have to eat scraps off the street. Instead, they get to enjoy three nutritious meals per day in their new home.

NEW CLOTHES

School uniforms, shoes, play clothes, and  PJs are provided for the children. They are dressed for success! New wardrobes are provided as the child grows into an adult.

EDUCATION

Poverty ends with education. Angel House provides education through 18 years of age and positions each child with a chance to succeed at their dreams.

Birthday Parties

Birthdays are incredibly significant at Angel House. Two-thirds of the children have been orphaned: no mommies, no daddies, no name, and no birthdate. Upon arriving at Angel House, these children are registered, named, and celebrated.

Angel House's mission statement is to bring abandoned children from the slum to safety and into the loving arms of parents that will educate, love and raise them to become future leaders in their generation.

Commonly asked question: 

Once the home is fully built, how is it financially sustained?

In most cases, the long-term financial support comes from non-profits in the immediate community. Angel House will not build a new home until there is a financially sustainable system in place. This enables the community to involve themselves in giving back to the most vulnerable in their region.

Why do you build a community center next to every home placement?

The Community Center is a way to empower the locals for lasting change. Locals help support the Angel House. At the center, teaching and educating takes place.

Why can't we adopt these children?

International adoption is illegal out of India due to the risk of sex trafficking.

What happens to the older children?

The children and young adults do not age out until they are fully self sufficient.

What about children with disabilities?
